Reverend Jesse C. Staton, Jr. has just joined Macedonia United Methodist Church as Senior Pastor in June, 2010. Jesse, and his wife Emma, joins Macedonia from Faith Harbor United Methodist Church in Surf City, NC.
Reverend Carl Clark has been Director of Music and Organist at Macedonia United Methodist Church since 2006. Carl is a native of Fuquay-Varina, NC, and attended Duke Divinity School in Durham, NC. Presently, Carl serves in residency at Duke University Medical Center as Resident Chaplain in the Department of Pastoral Services where he undertakes training in Clinical Pastoral Education with a focus in pediatrics. Sally Davis has been Director of the Preschool at Macedonia United Methodist Church since 2004. Sally is a native of Michigan and attended Albion College. Prior to serving as Director, Sally served as classroom volunteer, Preschool Treasurer, and Lead Teacher in the 2’s class. She has served on various church committees and has been an active participant in bible study programs. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, walking, and being outside. Andrea Parker has been Treasurer of Macedonia United Methodist Church since 2008. Formerly holding positions as a project development scientist and analytical chemist, Andrea graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a BS in Science Teaching and Chemistry. While at UNC, she also participated in the North Carolina Teaching Fellows Program. She currently serves as president of the UMW Genesis Circle and is part of MUMC’s Children’s Ministries program. Scott Hanson joined the staff of Macedonia UMC with the opening of the new sanctuary and has been custodian for a year and a half.
