Appalachia Service Project

Appalachia Service Project (ASP) is a Christian ministry, open to all people, that inspires hope and service through volunteer home repair in Central Appalachia. Founded in 1969, this year-round service outreach offers volunteers age 14 through retirement the opportunity to make homes warmer, safer, and drier for needy families in regions of Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia. Transformational experiences occur as cultural, social, and economic barriers come down and relationships are built among volunteers, families served, and staff. As volunteers and donors bless those they serve, it is often they who end up being the most blessed.
