BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
WORSHIP WITH US
Worship: noun \wur-ship\ : Reverent honor and homage paid to God. Ceremonious rendering of such honor and homage.

First of all, Welcome.

Our one hour Sunday Worship service includes a mix of traditional hymns and contemporary music, readings from the Bible, prayer and a sermon. Each Sunday, we celebrate communion where God’s table is open to everyone. We believe that communion is central to worship and is a time to experience God’s grace each and every week.

Childcare is provided throughout the service. Our youngest infants through 2 year olds have nursery care. Our 3 year olds through 3rd grade participate in a program called Godly Play. They are picked up by their parents in order to be part of communion each week.

What to Expect.

I’m not Methodist, can I come?

Pull up a chair! No matter what you believe, you’re welcome at Macedonia! We welcome and encourage all people to join us as we grow in faith together.

What version of the Bible do you use?

Typically, Pastor Kevin teaches from the Common English version of the Bible. But we aren’t picky! Learn from whichever version of the Bible you can easily read and understand.

What should I wear?

We care about people’s hearts, not what they are wearing. Most of our congregation tends to dress on the business casual side, but you’ll see jeans and shorts too. Just be comfortable and come as you are.

It’s my first time! Where do I go?

Our church has a few entrances, one off of Jones Franklin Road and the other off of Tryon Road. Our main entrance is located behind the sanctuary. Follow the signs as you drive in and park wherever! Our greeters will be waiting at the door to welcome you inside, where they can direct you to a comfortable seat in the sanctuary.

Will I be pointed out as a first timer?

We strive to be a welcoming community of followers of Jesus Christ. You will be embraced with unconditional love and treated kindly; however, no one will ask you to stand up and introduce yourself right away. We reserve the back row of pews for guests, so feel free to sit there and take it all in. We will respect your time to decide if Macedonia is right for you.

I’ve attended worship a few times, what’s next?

Coffee with the Pastor is a great way for those who have been visiting to have some of your basic questions answered about Macedonia. Look here to see where else you might be a part of the church – Serve, Go, Connect

What childcare is available?

Nursery care on Sunday is provided between the hours of 9am-11:30am and is staffed by trained, loving volunteers in a child-friendly, safe environment.* Pagers are available for parents.

For children ages 3 to grade 3, we offer Godly Play during worship. This is an incredible opportunity for our kids to experience God’s Word for themselves. Parents can pick them up prior to communion each week so that our entire Macedonia family can experience the Lord’s Table together.
