Ash Wednesday Services

Ash Wednesday services will be held on Wednesday, February 18, at 12:00 noon and at 6:00pm.

Lenten Sermon Series

This Lent, we are looking at people who lived on the margins and were found by Jesus and healed. How did they experience Jesus? How do we experience Him? As week by week, we get closer to the celebration of Jesus’ death and resurrection, may we approach this season with a desire for repentance, renewal, and healing.

Lenten Bible Study

Our Lenten Bible Study will be based on the Social Principles which are a call to social action seeking to evaluate the church’s response to issues of our day in a way that is just, merciful, and compassionate. We may not all agree on what faithfully responding to social issues are, but we can listen, seek to understand, and have meaningful dialogue about how we interpret Scripture in light of our experience, reason, and tradition. Topics will include things like the criminal justice system, care for the earth, global economic challenges, and human rights.

Healing Tree Mental Health

Macedonia UMC is launching a new mental health initiative called Healing Tree Mental Health.  Healing Tree will house counselors and therapists, and have opportunities for group therapy.  Groups from the community will gather in the Healing Tree space for Alcoholics Anonymous, Grief Share, and other mental health adjacent programs.
