Youth

Middle and High School Students are a priority at Macedonia. These students form a deep bond with one another, but also learn how to live out their faith as teenagers. Students at Macedonia truly feel like they are a part of God’s family. We have a committed team of adults who love working with these students. Sunday Nights

Our main time to gather during the school year is on Sunday nights from 5:00-6:30. We hang out, eat some food, and have a biblically-guided conversation together. We are using a series called “Can I Ask That?” that encourages students to ask tough questions that challenge them in their faith. We would love for you to join us!

Confirmation

Middle School students take a Confirmation journey along with Pastor Kevin. These students meet at 9:00 am during the School year to learn about the United Methodist tradition, and to claim their faith in Jesus. Confirmands take a retreat together in the winter, and are confirmed in the spring/summer.

Service

Our youth at Macedonia are active in serving the Macedonia community and our broader community. Youth are our primary acolytes in worship, bringing in the light of Christ and assisting the pastor. Youth serve in our food pantry, and have taken hurricane restoration trips. Youth lead sessions for kids at VBS, and serve as larger-than-life role models for the kids.
