Kids

At Macedonia, kids experience a nurturing and faith-filled environment that encourages their growth as followers of Jesus. We want to partner with parents so that all children will know they are connected with God’s family. Our Director of Children’s Ministries, Michelle Kobi, is always happy to share and answer any questions about our program. children@macedoniaumc.org

Sunday Mornings

Nursery
Infants-3 year olds are in our Nursery that is always staffed by our Nursery Assistant, Samantha and is trained in our Safe Sanctuaries policies. The nursery is the closest room to the Sanctuary, so you are never far away!

Godly Play
3 year olds-2nd grade kids participate in our Godly Play Program. Through Godly Play, children learn the stories of the Bible, understand the liturgical calendar, and have a chance to respond with art and play to the stories they learn. Kids can be dropped off at the Godly Play room before worship, and they will be led back in for communion with the entire church.

3rd-5th grade
Our older Elementary age students have an experience tailored just for their curious minds. Whether learning about how to use their Bibles or learning about prayer, Ms. Michelle guides them each week. These kids also return to worship for Communion each Sunday.

Sunday Evenings

Our Macedonia Kids program meets from 5:00-6:30 during the school year. The kids have the opportunity to participate in Kids Choir together, have a Biblically based teaching time, and play games and build community. This program runs simultaneous to Macedonia Youth.

Vacation Bible School

Every summer Macedonia puts on an incredible week of Vacation Bible School. Save the date now for July 16-20 Hero Hotline! Invite your friends for this evening program for Preschool-5th grade.

Special Events

Macedonia Kids are active participants in leading worship at various times during the year. We also have picnics, game nights, and multi-generational community nights that build our community together.
